The Opportunity
They are seeking an experienced Technical Trainer to join their Asset Management team. In this role, you will facilitate skill development and maintenance of their training by delivering training programs and competency-based assessments aligned with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and industry standards. They are open to candidate seeking permanent or temporary placements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and manage training programs to meet scheduled requirements.
- Conduct competency-based assessments to ensure alignment with AQF and industry standards.
- Mentor trainees during on-the-job training and workplace learning.
- Engage proactively with stakeholders to ensure training services meet expectations.
- Contribute to a safe working environment by upholding safety standards and practices.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- A current Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems (Distribution Cable Jointing and/or Overhead) and/or Certificate II in ESI - Asset Inspection. (Company is willing to pay for the second certification if not already held.)
- Relevant industry experience in the power or related industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in key business systems and office software.
