Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate, compliant payroll services while supporting the wider business with expert payroll advice.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional looking to join a stable business that genuinely values collaboration, accuracy and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end processing of weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls
- Supporting the Payroll Supervisor with the day-to-day running of the payroll function
- Reviewing and checking payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Interpreting and applying Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements and payroll legislation
- Processing superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax and Single Touch Payroll
- Managing terminations, leave reconciliations, allowances, deductions and back pay calculations
- Assisting and supporting Payroll Officers within the team
- Preparing payroll reports, reconciliations and supporting audit requirements
You'll be an experienced payroll professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, has exceptional attention to detail and takes pride in delivering an outstanding payroll service.
- 3-5+ years' experience in end-to-end payroll
- Strong knowledge of Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements and payroll legislation
- Experience working within a complex payroll environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience using UKG (highly regarded)
