About the Role
Reporting to the Manager - Performance & Reporting, you will be a trusted advisor within the Finance team, delivering high-quality financial reporting and playing a critical role in strengthening the company’s governance and control environment.
You will oversee month-end processes, ASX reporting requirements, JV compliance, tax obligations and internal controls while partnering with stakeholders across Operations, Projects and Corporate to communicate financial performance and provide insights that support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and review half-year, full-year and quarterly financial reports in line with ASX and accounting standards.
- Manage general accounting activities including month-end journals, reconciliations, impairment, restoration and DD&A calculations.
- Lead the month-end group consolidation process and deliver timely internal Monthly Management Reports.
- Produce Board and Audit Committee papers and technical accounting documentation.
- Coordinate external audits and manage corporate accounting policies.
- Support tax compliance obligations in conjunction with external advisors.
- Collaborate with budget holders to interpret results, cost drivers and forecast movements.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support operations, projects, and cost management.
- Contribute to JV reporting, cost recoveries and Work Program & Budget submissions.
- Maintain and enhance the internal control framework, ensuring audit readiness and compliance.
- Support internal control testing, compliance assessments and internal audit processes.
- Drive process improvements across month-end, reporting, systems and automation initiatives.
- Support financial systems enhancements (SAP) and broader finance transformation activities.
- Act as a senior member of the Finance team, providing guidance and technical oversight.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships and communicate financial insights clearly.

About You:
Essential
- CA/CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- 5–8+ years’ experience in financial accounting, reporting and compliance.
- Proven experience preparing financial statements for an ASX-listed entity.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge; external audit background highly regarded.
- Understanding of tax and financial legislation.
- ERP experience (SAP preferred) plus advanced Excel capability.
- Demonstrated experience improving processes, controls and reporting accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present findings clearly.
- Confident partnering with senior management, auditors and advisors.
