About the Role

a&co are delighted to be partnering with Lifeline WA to recruit a strategic and passionate Project Manager as the organisation prepares to celebrate 40 years of service to the Western Australian community, four decades of hope, connection, and lifesaving support.

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated professional to lead this landmark anniversary campaign, celebrating Lifeline WA’s remarkable legacy while driving future growth and community impact.

Reporting directly to the Executive Team, this standalone role will plan, fund, and deliver a comprehensive 40-year anniversary campaign that honours the organisation’s history, elevates its visibility, and strengthens partnerships across the state.

You’ll lead the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of all celebratory activities, ensuring they align with Lifeline WA’s purpose, values, and long-term goals.

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract, commencing January 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive 40-year celebration plan in collaboration with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establish and lead a cross-functional working group to ensure inclusive planning and effective delivery.
  • Secure financial and in-kind support by identifying and engaging sponsors, donors, and pro-bono partners.
  • Co-ordinate high-impact events, storytelling initiatives, and PR campaigns that reflect Lifeline WA’s legacy.
  • Leverage existing marketing, fundraising, and partnership activities to amplify reach and engagement.
  • Deliver measurable outcomes across awareness, fundraising, and service innovation.
  • Ensure all initiatives align with Lifeline WA’s strategic goals, brand, and values.
About you:

You’re a strategic, energetic, and commercially aware project leader who knows how to make things happen. You bring the confidence and influence to engage stakeholders, the organisation skills to manage complexity, and the initiative to turn vision into delivery.  You don’t need to be the “creative” behind the ideas, but you have the drive and professionalism to bring creative concepts to life.

Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects or campaigns from concept to delivery.
  • Strong skills in sponsorship, fundraising, or partnership development.
  • Experience in event planning, marketing, or communications (NFP or CSR experience highly regarded).
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously, managing multiple priorities with energy and purpose.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adaptable across audiences.
  • A tertiary qualification in project management, communications, marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.
Why join Lifeline WA

Lifeline WA has stood beside Western Australians in crisis , offering hope, connection, and compassion when it’s needed most. As part of this purpose-driven organisation, you’ll join a team that values respect, connection, excellence, and empowerment, and you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how this milestone is remembered.

In return, Lifeline WA offers:
  • Salary packaging options to increase your take-home pay
  • Two paid Mental Health Days annually
  • Hybrid work options to support work–life balance
  • A central Subiaco location, close to public transport and cafes
  • End-of-journey facilities for an active commute
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Program and Lifeline WA Minders
This is a rare opportunity to lead a milestone project that honours Lifeline WA’s legacy and celebrates its future.  If you’re ready to bring purpose, energy, and drive to a campaign that truly makes a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
