What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and develop a small team of People & Culture professionals
- Provide strategic HR advice to senior leaders across the organisation
- Manage employee relations matters, including investigations and conflict resolution
- Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding processes
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and drive continuous improvement across HR initiatives
- Strong knowledge and application of HR and employment legislation
- Leadership experience, ideally in a local government or public sector setting
- Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-moving environment
- Confident in handling complex employee relations issues
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
