We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end payroll processes on a weekly and monthly basis.
This hands-on role requires strong attention to detail, sound knowledge of payroll legislation, and the ability to liaise confidently across internal departments.
There are excellent processes and extensive operating procedures already in place making this payroll a pleasure to run.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll including timesheets, reports, and data entry
- Manage EBA queries, pay rates, and allowances in collaboration with HR
- Complete end-of-month reconciliations and process statutory payments
- Prepare and reconcile year-end payroll obligations including payment summaries, superannuation, payroll tax, and WorkCover
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy of personnel and leave data
- Process payroll-related journal entries and assist with invoice entry as required
- Respond to payroll queries and maintain effective communication with staff
- Proven experience in a payroll processing role
- Familiarity with EBAs, payroll legislation, and statutory reporting
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and organisational skills
