As part of continued organisational growth, they have created a new Manager ICT & Digital Services to lead the delivery, optimisation and innovation of their technology environment. About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will provide both strategic leadership and hands-on technical expertise across Barunga Village’s ICT and digital ecosystem.
You will act as the critical link between business needs and technology solutions ensuring systems, services and digital initiatives deliver real value.
This role will see you:
- Lead ICT service delivery across the organisation
- Provide trusted advice to the Executive Team on digital strategy
- Oversee vendors, managed service providers and ICT partnerships
- Drive cyber security maturity and information governance
- Deliver digital and system transformation projects
- Support business improvement and smarter use of data
- Mentor and develop the internal ICT capability
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Align ICT services with organisational goals and priorities
- Contribute to and implement ICT and Digital Strategy
- Monitor performance, risks and service outcomes
- Provide senior technical leadership and escalation support
- Ensure systems, infrastructure and applications remain fit-for-purpose
- Support major upgrades, implementations and issue resolution
- Manage key external providers including MSPs, cyber security and telecom partners
- Ensure strong service delivery, performance and value for money
- Lead cyber security initiatives and awareness
- Support compliance and implementation of frameworks such as Essential Eight
- Monitor and mitigate ICT risks
- Lead system implementations and integration initiatives
- Identify automation and efficiency opportunities
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies
- Improve reporting, dashboards and business intelligence capability
- Oversee key platforms including Microsoft 365, SharePoint and core business systems
About You
You are a practical, solutions-focused ICT leader who can operate at both strategic and operational levels. To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience managing ICT services in a medium-sized organisation
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 environments
- Experience leading ICT projects and system implementations
- Demonstrated capability in vendor and managed service delivery
- Solid understanding of cyber security principles and controls
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- The ability to translate technical concepts into business value
- Experience in aged care, health or community services
- Exposure to cloud-based systems and business intelligence tools
- Shared services or organisational transformation experience
