Our client is seeking an IT Co-ordinator to manage and optimise their technology systems and ensure they align with organisational goals. This is a hands-on coordination role where you’ll manage vendors, support accreditation and compliance, and help them improve business processes through smart use of technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the relationship with the Managed IT Service Provider (MSP), ensuring service levels and performance targets are met.
- Oversee IT governance, frameworks, and data security to support accreditation and compliance.
- Provide informed recommendations on the selection, implementation, and optimisation of business applications, cloud-based solutions, and hardware, including coordination of system rollouts.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including system access and hardware allocation.
- Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues and escalate to the MSP where required.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver IT projects that enhance operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly understand organisational IT systems and processes.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT support, systems administration, or IT co-ordination roles, including vendor management and user support
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for IT-related issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain tech to non-technical users.
- Proven ability to manage third-party vendors and maintain strong relationships.
- Organised and able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and cloud-based systems (essential).
- Understanding of IT governance and compliance frameworks.
