We are seeking an experienced Information Protection Specialist to lead the development and ongoing maturity of enterprise information classification and protection capabilities.
Working across technology, security, risk and business teams, you will design, implement and optimise information protection controls, with a strong focus on Microsoft Purview, information classification, sensitivity labelling, data loss prevention (DLP) and governance of unstructured data.
To be successful in this role, demonstrated Microsoft Purview experience is essential and applicants without strong hands-on Purview experience will not be considered.
Key responsibilities:
- Implement and enhance information classification and protection frameworks.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Purview capabilities including sensitivity labels, auto-classification and DLP policies.
- Develop reporting and insights on data protection effectiveness and risk trends.
- Support compliance, audit and control assurance activities.
- Drive adoption of sustainable information protection practices across the organisation.
- Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview (essential).
- Strong background in information protection, data governance and security.
- Experience implementing classification and protection controls in enterprise environments.
- Ability to engage with technical and business stakeholders and influence outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
