We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a people‑focused team and play a key role in supporting leaders, shaping culture and driving workforce capability. This role partners closely with a defined portfolio, providing strategic and operational HR support while contributing to broader people initiatives across the organisation.
What you’ll be doing
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, offering guidance across the full spectrum of HR activities.
- Support leaders with workforce planning, team capability, performance, development and change.
- Lead and contribute to people‑related programs, projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with specialist HR teams to deliver solutions in areas such as talent, culture, organisational effectiveness and engagement.
- Provide insights through data and trends to inform decision‑making and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with restructures, succession planning and building future workforce capability.
- Partner with Employee Relations and Case Management teams to support conduct and grievance matters within your portfolio.
- Manage a varied and fast‑paced workload, balancing priorities and assessing risk effectively.
- Build strong relationships across the business and proactively identify gaps, risks and opportunities.
- Broad generalist HR experience across multiple functional areas.
- Strong background in HR business partnering within a model that includes centres of excellence and shared services.
- Ability to support both operational and professional workforces with practical, fit‑for‑purpose advice.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business needs into people solutions.
- High‑level interpersonal, influencing and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Confidence working in environments with high volume, complexity and competing priorities.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience working with unions in an operational environment.
- Post‑graduate qualifications or professional HR membership.
- A valid WA driver’s licence.
