HR Advisor

In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for HR advice and support — working closely with leaders and employees to make sure our people practices are fair, consistent, and aligned with our values. You’ll get involved in everything from recruitment and onboarding to performance development, policies, and projects that make a real difference.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide friendly, practical advice on all kinds of HR and employee relations matters.
• Partner with leaders to support their teams with performance, development, and workplace matters.
• Coordinate the recruitment and onboarding process so new team members start off on the right foot.
• Keep employee records up to date and help with HR reporting and compliance activities.
• Contribute to reviewing policies, improving systems, and supporting people-focused projects.

• Qualifications in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience providing HR advice and support in a busy environment.
• A solid understanding of employment law, awards, and HR policies.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build trust with people at all levels.
• A professional, organised approach and a genuine respect for confidentiality.

• Experience in the not-for-profit or community services sector.
• Confidence using HR systems such as Employment Hero or Aurion.
