About the Opportunity
As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in connecting finance with operational leaders across the organisation. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will deliver insights, analysis and commercial guidance that enable informed, strategic decisions.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will help embed financial accountability, improve business performance, and support sustainable growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to provide strategic financial advice and commercial insights
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Deliver timely month-end reporting, dashboards and performance analysis
- Provide scenario modelling, trend analysis, and risk/opportunity insights
- Support business cases, cost-benefit analysis and strategic initiatives
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting, systems and processes
- Build strong relationships and influence outcomes across the organisation
You are a commercially astute finance professional who thrives in a collaborative, stakeholder-focused environment. You enjoy partnering with the business and have a natural ability to simplify complex financial information.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or similar role within a complex environment
- Strong financial analysis, modelling and reporting capability
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with high attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Solid understanding of financial accounting, governance and controls
- CPA/CA qualified with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Business
- Experience with finance systems (TechOne advantageous)
- Understanding of NDIS or government-funded environments (highly regarded)
- Current driver’s licence and ability to obtain relevant clearances
