- Manage a variety of employee relations cases from initial contact through to resolution, ensuring timely, fair, and consistent outcomes.
- Apply sound judgment and a trauma-informed approach to navigate sensitive or escalated matters with care and professionalism.
- Ensure all processes align with workplace legislation, enterprise agreements, safety requirements, and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to support transparency and compliance.
- Provide insights and trend analysis to identify systemic issues and support proactive cultural and compliance improvements.
- Collaborate closely with the Employee Relations Team Lead and colleagues to share knowledge, best practices, and support continuous improvement.
What Makes a Great Fit
- Proven experience managing employee relations or HR cases in fast-paced, complex, or unionised environments.
- Strong understanding of workplace legislation, enterprise agreements, and procedural fairness principles.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills at all organisational levels.
- Confident in documenting, reporting, and presenting findings clearly and accurately.
- Empathy-driven, resilient, and committed to fostering safe and respectful workplace interactions.
- Relevant HR, Employee Relations, or related qualifications preferred.
