Join an innovative AI and data Western Australian technology company at a pivotal stage of growth.  This is a leadership role where you'll own the day-to-day delivery, operations and performance of a growing Data & AI function, helping transform cutting-edge research into scalable, production-ready solutions.  As the business expands globally, you'll play a key role in shaping delivery practices, team capability and AI operations.

The Role
  • Lead the delivery, performance and development of a growing Data & AI team.
  • Drive agile ways of working, including stand-ups, sprint planning, Kanban boards and delivery reporting.
  • Own MLOps practices, model deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement across AI solutions.
  • Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to prioritise work, manage risk and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate local and offshore technical resources to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Help establish best practice across Snowflake, AWS, data pipelines, AI tooling and governance.
  • Contribute to research, innovation and the commercial application of AI technologies.
About You
  • Experience leading Data, AI, Analytics, Machine Learning or Engineering teams.
  • Strong machine learning domain expertise with experience delivering models into production.
  • Solid understanding of MLOps, cloud platforms and modern data architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with technologies such as Snowflake, AWS, Git, ClickUp, Jira and data pipeline tools.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and people leadership capability.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced scale-up environment where priorities evolve as the business grows.
