We’re seeking an experienced, energetic and highly organised Community Relationships Manager
to lead and grow our community fundraising activities. You’ll play a key role in building meaningful connections, raising vital funds, and delivering outstanding experiences for our supporters.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising & Community Engagement
- Identify new opportunities and drive innovative fundraising initiatives
- Represent CCA at community events (includes after-hours and weekends)
- Cultivate and grow relationships with schools, workplaces, and community groups
- Generate leads for major donors, workplace giving, merchandise sales, and other revenue streams
- Deliver exceptional supporter care to foster long-term engagement
- Develop tailored 12-month engagement plans for key fundraisers
- Collaborate with internal teams including Family Services, Marketing, and Executive Leadership
- Support logistics for events including set-up, packing, lifting, and basic equipment installation
- Build and coordinate a pool of enthusiastic volunteers
- Partner with the Marketing team to amplify fundraising campaigns
- Enhance the visibility and reach of CCA’s brand across South Australia
- A proven track record in fundraising, sales, and community engagement
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, and initiative
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM/database experience desirable
- Ability to thrive both independently and in a close-knit team
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
