We’re looking for a Carer Services Officer who’s equal parts organised, empathetic, and unflappable for our client in Perth CBD. You’ll be the friendly voice supporting Carers across WA to access and manage their carer packages and respite services—ensuring they feel heard, supported, and confident in the services available to them.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinating carer packages — matching funding and respite services to the needs identified in each Carer Support Plan.
- Managing phone‑based enquiries — you’ll spend a large portion of your day on the phone supporting Carers, suppliers, and partner organisations.
- Administering funding and bookings — ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with guidelines.
- Collaborating with partners across metro, regional, and remote WA to deliver high‑quality services.
- Maintaining CRM records with fast, accurate data entry.
- Supporting urgent respite referrals when Carers need help quickly.
Who you are You’ll shine in this role if you’re:
- A process‑driven multitasker who enjoys juggling phones, emails, and scheduling.
- A strong communicator who can build rapport with warmth and professionalism.
- Confident using CRM systems, Microsoft Suite, and entering data quickly and accurately.
- Experienced in healthcare, community services, or customer service environments will be highly regarded.
- Someone who brings empathy, cultural awareness, and a person‑centred approach to every interaction.
