Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all administrative functions across the Business Unit. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, providing proactive, efficient and confidential support to senior leaders and ensuring business operations run smoothly without the need for constant supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver end-to-end administrative support across the Business Unit
- Manage correspondence, ministerial-related activities, scheduling and complex diary management for the leadership team
- Support management with recruitment and selection processes for administration roles
- Guide and influence administrative practices across the Business Unit, including delegating work and contributing to performance agreements
- Lead and develop the administration function, ensuring knowledge sharing and alignment with corporate and group requirements
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, committees and key business partners
- Coordinate information and documentation for Board, Executive and Committee meetings
About you
- Substantial experience in a senior administration or coordination role within a large, complex or state-wide organisation
- Strong knowledge of Board, Executive and Committee meeting procedures and protocols
- Proven ability to work autonomously while supporting senior leaders in a fast-paced environment
- Well-developed communication, organisation and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to lead, guide and support administrative functions within a business unit
