a&co Recruitment Partners are proud to partner with the City of Karratha to recruit a Business Systems Project Manager to lead a multi-year digital transformation, modernising core business systems with TechnologyOne’s CiAnywhere (CiA) ERP platform.
Karratha is a vibrant hub and the largest city in the Pilbara, offering endless opportunities thanks to billions in planned investment across diverse sectors. With year-round warm weather, stunning landscapes, and a welcoming, family-friendly community, it’s a place where lifestyle and career come together. Working with the City of Karratha means joining a progressive organisation committed to shaping this dynamic region—so you can build your future while enjoying everything Karratha has to offer
As ERP Project Manager within the Business Performance team, you’ll lead the planning, execution, and delivery of modules as per the roll out schedule. You’ll effectively lead the project team, collaborate with internal stakeholders, TechnologyOne consultants, and external partners to ensure successful project and organisational outcomes. To thrive in this role, you’ll bring strong project leadership, effective stakeholder engagement, vendor management expertise, and the ability to drive organisational change.
This role offers more than a career—it’s a chance to enjoy the lifestyle and financial benefits of living in Karratha. With relocation assistance, housing support, and attractive allowances, you’ll have everything you need to settle in and make the most of this dynamic region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, delivery, and close-out of ERP modules as well as Hypercare and Post-Implementation Review (PIR).
- Drive progress to effective completion on a delayed ERP project, reinvigorating delivery timelines and getting initiatives back on track.
- Partner with business system owners to define business requirements, validate configurations, and align processes for optimal outcomes.
- Manage vendor relationships and external resources, including TechnologyOne consultants, as well as coordinate internal resources to ensure project delivery outcomes.
- Prepare and implement the project charter for the ERP team and orchestrate PIR activities, even if transitioned to another department.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Proven experience managing complex ERP implementations, ideally within local government or similar organisations.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and budget.
- Ability to develop business cases, provide clear, reasoned recommendations and confidently challenge assumptions—this is not a “yes person” role.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex ERP programs and initiatives, including recovery or reinvigoration phases, and post implementation support.
- Broad knowledge of ERP modules including Finance, HRP, Supply Chain, Property & Rating, and Asset Management.
- Experience with TechnologyOne products (CiAnywhere or OneCouncil) is preferred.
- Expertise in project management frameworks and tools (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile).
- Project management and/or change management certifications (PRINCE2, Prosci, AgilePM) highly desirable.
If you’re a seasoned ERP Project Manager ready to lead this transformation and make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact Melissa Brookes on 0461 556 064 or apply now including a cover letter, outlining how you meet the key requirements.
