Our client is a well-established Perth-based software company with a global customer base. They develop market-leading solutions and are looking for a Business Analyst to join their collaborative Product team as they continue to enhance and evolve their products.
The Opportunity:
Working within a cross-functional Agile team, you'll be the key link between customers and the technical team. You'll partner with clients to understand their business challenges, translate requirements into clear technical outcomes, and support the successful delivery of new features and product enhancements.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved throughout the software development lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through to testing, product releases and customer adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with customers to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for product improvement.
- Facilitate workshops and gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with Developers, QA and UX to deliver high-quality software enhancements.
- Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement and retrospectives.
- Assist with testing, defect triage and user acceptance activities.
- Support customer training and adoption following software releases.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of established SaaS products through ongoing feature development and enhancement.
- At least 4 years experience as a Business Analyst within a software development, product or SaaS environment.
- Strong requirements gathering, business process analysis and documentation skills.
- Experience working within Agile development teams.
- The ability to communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence (experience with MIRO, Figma, Postman or AWS is advantageous)
