An established insurance provider in the Perth CBD is seeking an immediately available Bookkeeper to support their finance team during a busy period.
This role suits someone with 3–4 years of experience across complex bookkeeping, strong reconciliation skills, and confidence using Xero.
You will be stepping into a fast‑paced environment where accuracy and initiative are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Cash balance management — ensuring sufficient funds are available in the correct accounts
- Intercompany transfers — preparing and loading bank transfers
- Workday-to-bank reconciliations — reconciling payroll reports to bank activity
- Payroll ledger postings — managing all payroll-related entries into the ledgers
- Fortnightly payroll account reconciliations — maintaining accuracy across all payroll‑affected accounts
- Approval workflow support — ensuring approvers have the correct information to sign off payroll
- Process improvement — contributing to the development of a more streamlined payroll finance process
- 3–4 years of bookkeeping experience in complex environments (must have)
- Proficiency with Xero (must have)
- Strong reconciliation and ledger management capability
- Immediate availability
